Unified Kickers campaign announced
Footwear brand Kickers is to be promoted through a variety of different means as part of a new campaign, it has been revealed.
A new microsite is to be launched to act as the hub of the initiative, with paid search and social media expected to boost the levels of traffic directed to the relevant pages.
By doing so, greater exposure is hoped to be achieved, while Kickers hopes to make use of the verifiable return-on-investment figures which may be collated online.
Promotional activities are being carried out under the slogan of “MeetTheKickers” with leg cut-outs due to be placed on university campuses across the UK.
Marketing director Simon Jobson says: “The microsite and supporting digital elements of MeetTheKickers is the centre point for the entire campaign.”
The real-world element, meanwhile, calls on students to take photos of the legs in unusual places on their campus and upload the images to the microsite.
Winning entries to the promotion are to be rewarded with festival tickets, while the microsite also provides visitors with a code to earn a ten per cent discount in the footwear firm’s online store.
