Virgin launch new killer online campaign
Virgin Atlantic will be promoting the latest James Bond film, Quantum of Solace, in a new multi-channel campaign.
The marketing collaboration for the new movie, set to appear on screens from October 31st, follow the airline’s appearance in actor Daniel Craig’s first turn as 007 in Casino Royale.
James Bond will also take a flight with Virgin Atlantic in the new film on a trip across the pond.
Behind the scenes footage from the new film will also be shown on the carrier’s inflight entertainment system.
Advertising for economy seats will carry the Bond-related theme “You Only Live Once” while security and efficiency will be the focus of online marketing for the Upper Class advertising theme.
The carrier will also offer incentives through travel trade.
Paul Dickinson, sales and marketing director for Virgin Atlantic, explained: “Being James Bond’s favourite airline means we have to live up to his desire to travel in style.
“Our new campaign will highlight our great range of fares and superior product offering compared to other airlines.”
