Moet employs Scarlett Johansson for ad campaign
Moet & Chandon is to launch a global advertising campaign later this year starring Scarlett Johansson and online marketing will be employed.
Photographers Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott have shot an advert featuring the Lost in Translation star and the campaign will feature print and outdoor and advertising as well as the online aspect.
Moet recently unveiled Scarlett as its celebrity spokesperson during a gala at London’s Big Sky studio.
The company is hoping to reinforce the brand as “the champagne of cinema”.
Other movie stars and socialites, like Melanie Laurent and Joseph Fiennes, were present at the London event too.
Frederic Cumenal, president of Moet & Chandon, commented: “Scarlett Johansson was the obvious choice as our ambassador because she, like Moet, has a magical story to tell and makes people dream.”
Moet was the exclusive champagne of the 81st Oscars last month and put up one of its Grand Vintage 1929 Magnum bottles for auction with the money going to the Motion Picture & Television Fund.
