Staples ‘does it My Way’

A new branding initiative from office supplies firm Staples is headed by the banner: “My Style. My Way.”

Termed the M by Staples range for short, the product line includes commonly used stationery.

Notebooks, folders and journals are complemented by clips, push pins and magnets as part of the new range.

The new spring collection, supplied in colours suited to the season, adds to the existing autumn-based Fall Classic versions.

Petter Knutrud, senior vice-president of merchandising for Staples, says: “Our vision in developing the M by Staples brand is to make it easy for more self-expression in the workplace.

“Our customers pay attention to the details of the products they use every day.”

The organisation suggests that the range aims to connect not just on a style level, but to elicit an emotional response from the shopper.

Staples says it currently has some 2,000 stores worldwide and a network of 74,000 delivery associates helping to distribute its products to customers across the globe.
