Talk Talk reveals new head of marketing
Communications company Talk Talk has announced the new head of its direct marketing division.
Marketer Michele Lockwood joins the telecoms provider from Debenhams, where she was also head of direct marketing, and takes over the helm of Talk Talk’s accounts, according to Precision Marketing.
Ms Lockwood joined Debenhams in October 2006 and has been tasked with managing the firm’s £8 million budget across its retail units in the UK and Ireland.
The Carphone Warehouse recently announced plans to reassess its corporate structure which could lead to the split of its high street retail operation and its Talk Talk residential broadband business.
Charles Dunstone, chief executive of the company, said that he would remain “closely involved” with both companies and that an update of the review process will be provided next spring.
News of the review comes as The Carphone Warehouse reported an 11 per cent drop in profits for the first two financial quarters of this year.
