SEO is top priority of online marketers over coming months
Search engine optimisation (SEO) will be the number one priority for internet marketing professionals over the next six months, a new survey reveals.
A poll of over 400 online marketers conducted by TopRankBlog.com found that around one third of respondents intend to focus their efforts on SEO, while a similar proportion said their main area of interest in the coming months will be blogging.
Some 26 per cent said they anticipate spending more time on their pay-per-click advertising tactics, while social networking was cited by 21 per cent. Just seven per cent said they intend to divert more attention to video marketing.
Lee Odden, chief executive TopRank Online Marketing, wrote on TopRankBlog.com: “SEO has achieved a comfort level for most marketers - contrary to some mainstream media characterisations, it is a high-impact, high-value tactic for reaching customers online.

Some very interesting survey results and shows the importance of SEO to online business, while we go through uncertain economic times.
Most online business owners are very tuned in to changing trends and continue to alter or change their SEO tactics to stay ahead of the competition.
I was a bit surprised by the video marketing results at only 7% but i still believe this will rise in better times ahead.
I too am surprised at the 7% but would have to see the question. Education will come with time and even though I think that 7% is low, it will certainly grow. Thanks for sharing..
