SEM ‘to feature at cruise conference’
It could be a case of less surfing and more cruising for internet marketers at an upcoming conference.
The 2008 Cruise Europe meeting is to include sessions focusing on the potential search engine marketing (SEM) holds for the industry.
Issues on the agenda include the ways in which search engines have changed the way they operate.
Writing effective copy to maximise the SEM potential of a particular web page is also to be considered.
Attendants are also told to expect to benefit from a “site clinic” which aims to diagnose the weak areas of a number of sites and help to optimise their content.
One-hour “boot camp” sessions are due to take place at the event to help educate delegates on the organic SEM potential to be derived from websites.
Cruise Europe, the company behind the event, provides collaborative services to cruise ship operators and European ports to help ensure vessels are adequately catered for at the destinations they visit.
