Cheapflights launches Enjoy Your Flight campaign

A new interactive campaign has been launched by holiday planning service Cheapflights.

The Enjoy Your Flight promotion features an online virtual reality experience hosted by a virtual air steward or stewardess.

In the first two weeks following its release, more than 20,000 views were recorded, Cheapflights asserts.

The experience is ultimately expected to be made available via social networks, as well as on the organisation’s own website.

Head of online marketing Shahin Fard explains: “We wanted to engage with a younger audience by using a top creative agency, harnessing the power of social media and popular video sites.”

Individuals within the 18 to 34-year-old demographic bracket are expected to respond best to the promotion due to their greater level of interaction with social media sites.

Flying has become increasingly accessible to younger people, the company adds, with the internet growing in popularity as a research tool.

Cheapflights also sends out an email newsletter to alert its users to the latest special offers and destination guides.
