Clash Media launches mobile marketing service
Digital marketing company Clash Media has launched a new mobile marketing application that allows businesses to engage with clients through multiple platforms.
The service, Text Connect, enables marketers to deliver targeted direct marketing campaigns straight to the mobile phones of highly qualified leads through emails, phone calls and SMS messages.
Consumers will be offered free texting in exchange for answering a range of questions about their purchasing habits, offering a cost-effective way of converting leads into sales.
Users can download the Text Connect service free of charge onto their WAP-enabled mobile phones and the data is then submitted to marketing firms after being verified by Clash Media’s automated cleansing software.
Luke Pursey, managing director of Clash Media UK, said: “More British consumers are using their mobile phones to conduct transactions and interact with businesses.
“This behaviour has enabled businesses to add a new delivery channel to their marketing campaign mix to engage potential customers, drive sales and build brand equity.”
According to research by the Direct Marketing Association, 70 per cent of consumers who have responded to mobile marketing said that they have replied to a marketing text message.
