Ethical consumers ‘need not compromise on style’
Products are available which provide individuality and style for ethical consumers, it has been claimed.
A new home shopping company, Little Green Babies, has been established to allow selected clothing, toys and other products to be sold by representatives from their own homes or at events.
Starter packs provided by the firm include promotional materials and stationery to help get representatives set up in business.
Little Green Babies founder Joanne Baxter says: “We believe that living ethically shouldn’t mean you have to compromise on style and individuality.
“Fashion for your little one can go hand-in-hand with your own ethics.”
Among the principles upon which Little Green Babies operates is a desire to know where all products are sourced from.
Many of the items stocked are also Fairtrade, helping to cater further for ethically minded consumers.
Products are also sold directly via the company’s website for those who do not have a representative in their area.
