Topman on E-Retailer of the Year 2009 shortlist
Topman has been named on the shortlist for the E-Retailer of the Year 2009 award, which may suggest that the company’s online advertising is paying off.
Gracia Amico, head of e-commerce at Topman, commented: “It’s been a great year for Topman, from launching our new website last year, opening our online store for US customers and achieving record sales over Christmas.”
The awards recognise those firms that show they have altered their business to succeed on various channels and platforms as well as delivering growing levels of profitable business transactions over the internet.
Other competing organisations hoping to get their hands on an award include 2008’s winner Tesco and New Look.
A winner will be announced on May 7th during a gala awards ceremony at the World Retail Congress in Barcelona.
The Internet Advertising Bureau recently announced it is to launch the Mobile Advertising Innovator Award with Orange UK and New Media Age.
