Ultimo ’spices up branding efforts’

Lingerie brand Ultimo has revealed it is shifting its branding efforts from the most successful girl group of the noughties to their 90s counterparts.

Recently, Girls Aloud singer Sarah Harding has appeared as the face of the company’s underwear range.

But Spice Girl Mel B is soon to replace the platinum blonde, having already shot her first images for the firm.

Michelle Mone, creator of Ultimo, explains: “Mel was fantastic to work with - she is absolutely gorgeous with a body to die for.

“I saw a picture of her in a bikini in Miami and had to sign her for Ultimo.”

She adds that placing Mel in front of the camera made the breathtaking views of the Beverly Hills photoshoot “even more incredible”.

Mel expressed her delight at taking on the role, calling Ultimo’s lingerie “stunning”.

Harding appeared alongside former Hollyoaks star Gemma Atkinson in a photoshoot for Ultimo released in time for Valentine’s Day earlier this year.
