Online PR pays
Getting workers trained up in the intricacies of online public relations (PR) is a great way for businesses to keep marketing budgets down.
That’s according to Jacqui Green, principle presenter at the PR Training Centre in London, who explained than even just a day’s instruction would be beneficial.
Ms Green said that many firms need to keep money down as a result of the recession - made official today - and PR “is the lowest-cost way to build brand awareness and extend market penetration of products and services”.
“Companies of every size are finding it pays to deploy the very latest PR skills, especially in the field of online digital PR as well as web PR and marketing,” she added.
While many companies have suffered as a result of the recession, how badly online marketing has been affected has been a matter of debate, with some reports saying it will be perform strongly in 2009 and others disagreeing.
