Search marketing ideal for targeting budget-conscious consumers
Search engine marketing can be an effective way of targeting consumers who are on a tight budget, an expert has suggested.
According to Tessa Wegert, of Clickz.com, firms may be able to increase the amount of thrifty consumers who visit their websites by using specific keywords to attract them.
She noted that using phrases that feature keywords such as “budget” are likely to attract prudent consumers and pointed out that terms such as “budget-saving recipes” are currently being snapped up by marketers who are keen to target this particular market.
“Employ both in a way that demonstrates your brand’s understanding of the current environment and give your customers something with the value they seek,” Ms Wegert said.
According to AccuraCast, search engines have the largest reach in the UK and are used by 85 per cent of users, followed by 83 per cent of users in France and Spain respectively and 77 per cent of users in the US.
