Company sees online sales soar with SEO
Panters & Sons, a bedding retailer based in Devon, has seen its sales rise online after it actively sought to market it on Google, it has emerged.
Managing director of the company Roger Panter spoke out about the increased sales, particularly of Fogarty & Dorma bedding, which has gone beyond what the firm had expected.
It puts the rise in sales down to implementation of pay per click advertising as well as search engine optimisation (SEO), which were also largely responsible for the company securing first position on Google for the majority of key words and phrases used to locate Fogarty & Dorma bedding.
“Given the current poor state of high street retail sales … many other small businesses could do well to look at the example of Panters & Sons,” the company commented.
Julie Batten, writing for ClickZ, recently recommended using SEO and email marketing to acquire more customers.
