SwedishVegas announces in-restaurant social network
Restaurant chain SwedishVegas is looking to harness the power of social networking as part of its latest promotional initiative.
However, far from creating its own online environment, the franchise is instead bringing social media into the real world.
“For the first time, the internet phenomenon of social networking is brought into a global restaurant chain,” SwedishVegas asserts.
This is by virtue of screens in the restaurants which enable two-way conversations to be had between customers and the chain’s in-house television station.
Meanwhile, the organisation adds that its SwedishVegas Girls are likely to keep customers coming back for more offline human contact.
With a different outfit theme for each day of the week, the girls could show up dressed as anything from a troupe of Vegas showgirls to a Swedish bikini team.
SwedishVegas claims to cater for a wide range of customers, with beverages varying from a simple cold beer to fine wines and cocktails.
