BT rolls out second celebrity ad
Dragons’ Den judge Peter Jones is the second celebrity to feature in an advertisement for BT’s business services.
The company has announced that the investor is to succeed chef Gordon Ramsay in the series of television commercials.
Each instalment in the series sees the relevant celebrity grappling with their telecoms while their regular business is neglected.
In the case of Ramsay, this meant the chef was seen attempting to open a PC tower with a carving knife while his kitchen burned down.
Jones comments: “It’s very exciting to be involved in this campaign.
“SME businesses really need suppliers and partners who they can count on to understand and meet their needs to help make their businesses successful.”
The investor was on hand at the recent BT Business Experience in London to help launch the new partnership.
Jones has also recently appeared on television screens in the US as one of the members of the American Inventor judging panel.
