BT advert ‘to feature Gremlins’
The new television commercial for BT’s business broadband services has a few stars besides Dragons’ Den panellist Peter Jones.
BT has revealed that 80s film stars the Gremlins are also to play a crucial role in the 90-second commercial.
The scaly green monsters are responsible for Jones experiencing an internet outage after chewing through his network cable.
Rather than calling for help, he attempts to fix the problem himself - while the creatures wreak havoc throughout his office.
Mick Hegarty, marketing director of BT Business, comments: “There is nothing worse than gremlins attacking your IT system and damaging your work.
“This is why we offer 24-hour IT and communications support - because you never know when those IT gremlins will strike.”
Jones follows in chef Gordon Ramsay’s footsteps in the second of BT’s light-hearted looks at what can go wrong without expert assistance.
Ramsay was featured trying to repair his computer with a carving knife while flames licked around his kitchen in the background.
